When I was 9 I found out about Roblox for the first time. It all happened when I was eating breakfast and saw a ad about Roblox. It was about how all these Roblox avatar band together to fight this titan boss. It was so cool. At the end of the add it said “Roblox, Powering Imagination.” Then before I even finished my breakfast I hurried to my iPad and downloaded the game. It became my favorite game. It had so much different types of games inside of one. You can even make your own world! I fell in love with the game. I played it ever single day till I got addicted. It was so fun. I even got stocks for Roblox! Then Roblox had to update and no one could play it. Those few days were miserable. I didn’t know what to do. I then had a premonition I would take a few days off of thinking about of Roblox and do something else. After Roblox came back I still played it a lot but I wasn’t that addicted anymore. “Maybe Roblox being down was a good thing” I thought in my head.
In September, I read a book called the Maze Runner by James Dashner. The Maze Runner is a science fiction novel about a 16 year old boy named Thomas and how he was sent to live in a maze with 60 other boys. Thomas randomly got sent up to the maze with no memories except his name. Everyone there are all boys and Thomas has many questions. He asked the boys how long have they been out here in the maze and if they have ever found a way out of the maze. They all say no. The next day, there is another person who came to the maze. This never happens because a new person only gets sent up here every month and is always a boy. This time its a girl. She has a note and looks almost dead. They all think it is Thomas’s fault. Thomas now thinks this girl looks familiar. Thomas has no idea what to think anymore.
I really loved this book because of all the suspense and the cliffhangers at the end. Furthermore, every time something big would happened another problem would come. Also, I loved how the Maze Runner put all the characters together like having Minho the leader type and having Newt hardworking and kind. I feel as every time I read more of the book I couldn’t stop reading.
Newt is my favorite character because he would always cheer everyone up when they were upset and he was very funny in his own way. Furthermore, Newt was the glue of the group of kids. Every time someone or something would get out of hand Newt would always be to help them. Also, I would say Newts character trait would be discipline and hardworking because at the Maze he would be a leader and work his own butt off to keep everything in order. “Order. You say that bloody word over and over in your shuck head. Reason we’re all sane around here is cause we work our butts off and maintain order.”
My favorite quote from the Maze Runner is “Part animal, part machine, the Griever rolled and clicked along the stone pathway. Its body resembled a gigantic slug, sparsely covered in hair and glistening with slime, grotesquely pulsating in and out as it breathed.” I like this quote because it tells you just how scary and gross this animal is. This is the part where Newt tells Thomas what monsters lay here in the maze.
Overall, I give this book a 5/5 because of the suspense and all the action from beginning to the end. I hope you give this book a try for yourself!
I would love to live in the universe of the Tv show Pokemon. Pokemon is a great place to live in because you can catch Pokémon and train them to battle other trainers or help them! I would love to battle other types of trainers and train very strong Pokémon. Also, you can enter something called the Pokémon coronation series where you battle other trainers to see who is the strongest Pokémon master! In the Pokémon world there is many types of different food. There is moo moo milk from a Pokémon called Mil-tank, Chansey’s eggs, and dried slowpoke tails which is delicious in stew. Furthermore, there are many different types of berries including: Chesto berries, Cheri berries, Bluk berries, and many more. If you or your Pokemon ever get hurt in the Pokémon world there is many Pokémon that can heal you or give you treatment. Also, if you ever feel lonely there are many trainers that you can adventure on your journey with you. In conclusion, I would want to live in Pokemon because of all the adventures you can have, the food, the Pokemon, and all the different trainers. Now who wouldn’t want to go to the Pokemon world?
Chicken Soup. One of the many great soups in the whole world! It just happens to be my favorite. I love Chicken Soup because of the creamy flavors, the softness of the noodles, and the simplicity of the soup. Chicken Soup has a very diverse type of flavor. It can be made from America, Asia, Australia, and even Africa! Also, Chicken Soup is so delicious because of the simplicity of the soup. All it has in it is some vegetables, chicken, broth, and any type of noodle you want. These ingredients all work for chicken soup plus, you can even add your own types of ingredients like apples or onions! Chicken Soup is great for when your sick too. Whenever I am sick I always ask my parents for some Chicken Soup. This is because Chicken Soup is so creamy and soft its like its flying around in your mouth. Furthermore Chicken Soup contains tryptophan, which raises your levels of serotonin, and that, in turn, can make you feel better when your sick. In conclusion, Chicken Soup is my favorite food because of the creamy flavors, it helps you get better when your sick, and the diverse types of flavors. Now who wouldn’t like Chicken Soup?
If I could design my house anyway it would look like a modern luxury house. I would want it to look like a modern luxury house because I like the aesthetic colors and the efficiency of a modern luxury home. The aesthetic colors of a modern luxury house are very pleasing because the earth type of color bring a subtle, inviting, and calm environment for yourself and your neighbors. Also, with the colors there are less walls with bigger space and the living areas blend in with each other. Another reason why I would want to design my home into a modern luxury home would be because of the efficiency of one. This is because modern houses have lower maintenance cost and have plenty of windows that allow sunlight to warm your home. Furthermore, appliances installed in the home are more energy efficient and will reduce water, electricity, heating, and cooling costs. In conclusion, modern luxury homes are great and reliable because the aesthetic colors of a modern home gives a pleasing feeling to you, a modern home costs less and reduces major spendings in your home, and the living areas would blend in with each other.
If I could travel anywhere in this world it would be Florida. I want to go travel to Florida because of the theme parks, beaches, and their delicious seafood. Florida is one to many theme parks in the world. Their theme parks are so much different because the ones in Florida are much bigger than the ones in California. Also, all of the popular theme parks are in Florida including : Universal Studios, Magic Kingdom, Universal’s Islands of Adventure ( Harry Potter world), Epcot, and much more. Furthermore, all of these theme parks come with shows, world class attractions, and restaurants. Speaking of restaurants, Florida has some of the best seafood in the world. Florida’s best is the Yellowfin Tuna. You can catch the Yellowfin Tuna in the Pelagic waters off both of Florida’s coast. If you want to try the Yellowfin Tuna made and catches by professionals one fabulous restaurant is the Fysh Bar & Grill. They specialize in Yellowfin Tuna and have a lot of different types of sushi and fish. Lastly, I want to travel to Florida because of their beaches. You may ask what makes Florida beaches different than California beaches? Florida’s beaches have whiter, finer sand and warm water pretty much year round. There are more than 500 beaches in Florida with a total beach length in over 900 miles. Florida also has over 1200 miles of coastline and has many diversity spots from kid-friendly spots to party focused locals. In conclusion, If i could travel anywhere in this world it would be Florida because of the theme parks, seafood, and beaches. Now who wouldn’t want to go to Florida after reading this?

In my free time, I mostly play tennis because I am a competitive tennis player. When I’m not playing tennis I also enjoy playing video games and chess. My favorite foods are pasta salads, mangos, and tacos. I love these foods because of all the flavors and feelings they give me. My favorite animals are penguins, dogs, and red pandas. I love these animals because they all look very cute. The person I look up to is my dad. I look up to my dad because he is very nice to everyone he meets and is a extremely good cook.
I did a lot of things over this summer. One thing that stood out was that I went to Spain. It was very relaxing and fun going to Spain. I was able to play a lot of tennis and eat tons of different types of foods. One food that I loved in Spain was the jamon. Jamon is like ham but sliced very thin. The jamon came with cheese, bread, olives, and caviar. It was delicious. Every time me and my family went out to eat if it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner we would always get the jamon. The jamon in Spain tastes a whole lot different than what it tastes here in America.
